Do you offer Payment plans?
Yes, we can organise to split your payments into instalments. Just let me know if this would suit you.
What If I have to have an emergency C-Section?
Birth is anything but predictable, and the unexpected is to be expected. It is not always clear whether doctors or hospital staff will allow me into the theatre to capture your c-section. I will try my hardest to advocate for being in there, however if they won’t budge I will give one of my cameras to your support person to take photos. If you book with me and then discover early you have to have a planned c-section we will have time to discuss photography with your obstetric doctor.
My labour might be days long, when do you come and do I have to pay extra If I take longer?
I completely understand that the journey of childbirth unfolds uniquely for each family, and I am committed to ensuring your experience is captured without any added stress. There is no extra charge for longer labour. My aim is to be there for you when you enter active labour, understanding that this stage looks different for everyone. We discuss the specifics of your labour and birth preferences in detail during our dedicated birth plan consultation meeting around 35/36 weeks. This allows me to align with your expectations, and best tell your authentic birth story. My priority is to capture the essence of your birth story, so you can relive those precious moments for a lifetime.
How many images will I receive?
You'll receive over 100 photos, depending on how many hours we shoot and how quickly your birth goes!
Will you share my images on social media?
This is your journey and if you are uncomfortable with your photos being shared on my social media platforms, I will respect that. This is something we will go over more than once during our time together. Most clients see the strength and beauty in their images and the power they have to motivate others, I hope you will see this in yourself too!
What areas do you service?
I can offer birth Photography to anyone in the Wellington Region. This includes Wellington Hospital Maternity, Hutt Hospital Maternity, Kenepuru Hospital Maternity, and Paraparaumu Maternity unit if you are planning to birth in the hospital. I am able to book birth photography in the Wairarapa and Manawatu If I have enough notice to prioritise you in my schedule. I would need you to book during your first trimester. I also LOVE booking home births, and will happily service Wellington, Wairarapa, and Manawatu Regions.
